Be still...Breathe in... Do you feel Him? Exhale... Let His Peace rush in and fill up your senses. Hosannah in the Highest. Who is there on earth like our God? It amazes me anew each day that I can cast all my cares on a loving God who loves and knows me so intimately that He is not shocked or angered by the depth of my frustrations and fears. But rather, He is present with words of peace to sooth my soul and refresh my mind and spirit defeating feelings that threaten to dry up my desire to reach out to those around me. I am ready once again to reach out to hurting people and allow the living water of Christ the King to flow through me.

Where do you go for refreshment?

I am sitting in the office, winding down for the day, finishing emails, sorting out my schedule for tomorrow. Everyone's gone home, all is quiet... except for the sound of soft singing coming from the front desk where my best friend waits patiently for me to finish. I think it must be one of the best sounds in the world. I love to hear my husband praising the Heavenly Father. What a great place to be, what a great man to have as my best friend.

Just Good People

When my children were little I worked with a school nurse named Gert Van Lent. Whenever anyone would ask her about her grown children or comment on something they had done, she would always answer with, "They are just good people." I always thought that was interesting to discuss your children with the eye of an adult friendship and not through the "eyes" of a "Mom". What does that have to do with the creation of this blog? Well, today I took some time to go on "three" of my "four" daughters' blog sites and I just want to say from woman to woman and friend to friend..."You ladies are just good people!" In fact to each of my children I want to say, "You are just good people!" I am so proud of the women and men God has surrounded me with.
